About the Artist, Desert Designs:

Hand-made & fairly traded, these cotton scarves are hand-woven using a wooden loom. Each scarf takes 4-10 hours to produce, depending on the complexity of design and colors. These beautiful works are made in Southern Egypt, just outside of Luxor, in a small family owned workshop.?
